Famous western story writer Zane Grey created this popular newspaper adventure strip, which began in 1935 as a Sunday
page and expanded into daily newspapers the following year. The stories were
action-packed and full of North Woods color, while Allen Dean's excellent drawings rose to the high King Features standard.
Presently the only available presentation of this unjustly-forgotten newspaper
comic classic is Pacific Comics Club's reprint of the King Feature Book from
the late 1930s. It's a good introduction to the strip and a worthy addition to
the adventure strip fan's bookshelf.
