This series from Checker begins with the first Steve Canyon strip and reprints dailies and Sundays in order. Four volumes are currently available: years 1947, 1948, 1949 and 1950. Caniff really poured on the ink--and the adventure--to launch his new strip about an ex-Air Force pilot and his crew trying to run a freelance cargo line in the dangerous days following WWII .
Each volume is 9" x 12", paperbound, approximately 170 pages.
