Flash Gordon in Large Format

Each of these big 12-1/2 x 13-1/2 volumes reprints a year's worth of Flash Gordon Sundays in full color. The large format really makes the most of Alex Raymond's fine artwork--it's almost as big as the strips originally appeared in the newspapers. Seven volumes begin in 1938 and end in 1944, when Raymond left the strip to join the Service and Austin Briggs replaced him. Raymond left in mid-year (and mid-story), so the final volume includes pages by both artists. The seven books are:
