Juliet Jones strip excerpt

The Heart of Juliet Jones
by Stan Drake

Artist Stan Drake brought the slick, realistic style of magazine illustration to the newspaper comics. His long-running classic soap opera strip, The Heart of Juliet Jones, debuted in 1953. Juliet entertained newspaper strip readers and inspired strip cartoonists for years to come. Juliet's always-fascinating adventures were written by the prolific (and uncredited) Elliott Caplin, brother of Li'l Abner cartoonist Al Capp.

Classic Comics Press is presenting a softback collection of this landmark feature, beginning with the first daily. This superb collection belongs on the shelf of any story strip fan.
